So who am I?

When my imposter syndrome takes over, I disappear into a whimsical book to give me a, “I’m a badass business owner and I refuse to succumb to this insecure foolery” mindset.. It’s like an ADHD body doubling hack for me, except the fantasy world I’m in is at a desk lost in my 80's spotify playlist.

But with that confession, comes another, and I wanna be 100% honest with you.. there’s a ton of businesses like yours out in the world. I mean I’m a website designer, I internally cry when I see yet another cool ass new designer on IG and then have to immediately tell my imposter syndrome that I have a book lined up and I will start reading her.

I say this shocking truth because this is the main objective that I hear. “There are so many amazing businesses with the same idea, why would mine matter?” 

Well it won’t matter if you don’t show up as YOU. Your business probably is in one of the saturated industries, but the thing that makes a business stand out no matter how saturated the market, is personality. So that thing that you are too scared to put out there it what will make your website the one that people will want to visit each and every page to then inquiry at the end. 

You could be a healer that has a special way of connecting with her clients, but how would anyone know if we didn’t talk about that on your site? 

You have a special way of tattooing thin lines, but how could you call in your potential clients if your work isn't on your site like it was the fucking Mona Lisa?

OR

What you do is impactful, I’m sure, because my website only draws in the most magical of magic people, which makes you absolutely necessarily NEEDED! Your personality is what I draw from to design your website, because your website is just another extension of who YOU are. 

So who cares about the saturated market, because when you have a website that is clear, easy to follow, and really fucking cool to look at - you won’t have to worry where your clients are going to come from. 

So I’ve been talking about how you need to show off your quirks on your website, here's mine:
